Search this site to find artists who are based in your geographical area of the U.S.
You can utilize one, two, or all three of the below selection choices.
One selection will return the broadest results. Three selections will return the fewest - if any.

Note: Occasionally, Artists or Groups change their home base, i.e., they relocate.
Although we try to keep such information updated, we cannot guarantee your search results information will be accurate.

"FORMED IN..." -- Find names of groups who were formed in a particular U.S. State.

For slightly different results for groups (vs. individual artists), try the below selection search.
This searches for groups who formed their band (or group) in a particular state of the U.S.
Unless the group has relocated, they are likely to be based in the same state in which they formed.

CITY OR STATE -- Find names of artists or groups who have some connection to a city or state.

As an alternative to the above search options, you can do a simple search for any name of a city,
or U.S. State, or country by using any standard search box on this site.

To search for a particular city (or state or country),
   type (within any search box on this site) the characters "..in " , followed by the name of the city
   (or state, province or country).
For example, ..in Los Angeles, or ..in Baltimore, or ..in California, or ..in England, or ..in Germany, etc.
Note: for New York City, type ..in New York City
         If you simply type ..in New York, results will be for the entire state.

When searching for a state name, use the full, correct spelling. Abbreviations will not work for this search.
For example, CORRECT: ..in New York, or ..in Texas   -- INCORRECT: ..in NY, or ..in TX

Use the name of only the city or only the state, or only the country.
Combination names, such as "Los Angeles, CA", or "London, England", will not work with this search.
